The Eastern Suns, a joint venture between the Hills Raiders, Kalamunda and Swan Districts Basketball Associations saw
it's first WABL campaign in Season 2001.

SUNS PLAYERS TRY THEIR LUCK IN THE USA
All of us here at the Eastern Suns wish Adam Forde ( Under 23's ) and Brenton Jayatilika ( Under 18's / Div. 1 ) all the best
in their ventures to the home of basketball
Whilst both were knocking on the door of SBL selection, Brenton ( 17
) who was the last cut from the State Under 18's squad, and Adam ( 18 ) saw the opportunity to improve their all - round games,
and come back to the Suns and the Mustangs as more complete players
We wish them well !
